Taylor's Introduction

Hello and welcome to Rewrite My Story. For those who don’t know, my other half Bryan and I run this business together.

My name is Taylor, and I am in charge of marketing and social networking. So I feel it is necessary to share with you how we got here.

For me, it all started in my childhood, long before I even met Bryan.

As a child, I felt a calling towards mystical knowledge. I wanted to know more about the supernatural world that might actually exist around me. But, to make a long story short, my curiosity had to get placed on a high shelf.

After that, quite a few years passed by. I graduated from high school, got into a serious relationship, and started my first job.

To others, this would seem like a normal life lived. But for me, this was just barely getting by. I didn’t know why, but I was in this low place mentally. This was as good as it was going to get for me.

Maybe that was why I stubbornly clung to the few things I had…

Anyways, after the New Year’s Eve of 2013-2014, I had an explosive awakening. I didn’t know this at the time, but 2014 was a personal year two for me.

For those that don’t know numerology, I will explain.

To see what your personal year number is, simply add the numbers of your birthday and the current year. For example:

December 19th, 2014

Year two is where emotions and relationships take the front seat. A year about love in all its forms.

In the beginning of this year, I realized my relationship with my long-term boyfriend wasn’t going in any direction. And so I decided it was better for both of us if I took the step forward to end things.

I didn’t know it at the time, but this was the first step of my spiritual awakening.

Funny enough, it was just a few short months later that I met Bryan.

He was a new cook at my work. I was a waitress. You can probably guess the rest.

Once we were officially a couple, he started to rekindle my fascination with the mystical, as he was in the middle of his own awakening. Together we frequented a crystal shop nearby and learned the techniques of Reiki (an energetic healing modality that focuses on the seven basic chakras). Bryan began training with other modalities as well.

At this point, our lives were beginning to take a funny turn. It made me feel like a butterfly pushing at the world around until the cocoon finally shattered.

My life became something I actually wanted to work for. And work for it, I did. I ended up moving out of my family’s household, going from place to place with Bryan. My workplace also closed down, and I jumped to another restaurant.

Then came the next big change.

I felt that I needed a change of pace and a new start. So I suggested we move across the state, where the other half of my family lived.

I truly wanted to do this, with or without Bryan. But I was very relieved when he agreed to move with me.

We moved in with my Dad and Grandmother, and things began to escalate rapidly.

Less than a year after moving, I discovered that I was pregnant. Shortly after I had an ultrasound, finding out that I was already halfway through my pregnancy!

As you can imagine, this caused a lot of big decisions to be made. I went down from two jobs to one. Bryan did his part by going back to school, on top of working overtime hours.

The real work, however, began after we had our son.

We moved into an apartment, and those two years felt like a blur. We didn’t really understand it at the time, but those were the years we did a lot of shadow work.

It was a struggle to adjust to our new family dynamic. Especially for Bryan, who ended up going to therapy. It had become adamantly clear as well that he had not been raised in a socially acceptable manner.

And even though I had five younger siblings, I struggled as well. But more on that in another post.

Amazingly, we found our way to better days together. The more we healed ourselves, the better our family life became.

Now we are living in our first self-bought home. Our son is as happy and healthy as can be. Bryan is still working and going to school full time, but he is in a much healthier place to do so. The difference is him is like night and day.

The changes I’ve seen in myself are immense as well. I feel a confidence I haven’t felt since before I hit puberty. The spark in my interests is back, and I am now honing my talents.

All in all, my life has taken me through dramatic changes since the day I decided to change my life.

And they all started happening the moment I met my other half, my twin flame, my true love.

I hope, once you’ve made the choice, your life can become what you want as well.
